My name is Stefan Tesliuc (he/him/his).

  • I am a Senior Manager at Capital One where I lead the Customer Management New Models team. We build models to better understand how people use their credit lines.
  • I do some research in AI and Machine Learning, and especially how it interacts with Credit.
  • I have a math background from UChicago and enjoy working on theoretical quantitative problems.
  • I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt atBlack Cat Jiu Jitsuin Springfield, VA, which is the only achievement I have ever accomplished due to physical prowess.
  • I am a nature lover, a romantic idealist, and live in the DC area with my girlfriend Sofie.
